Ortovox Powder Rider 16 backpack. A compact, purpose-built pack for short ski tours and freeride days where a 16 litre capacity is sufficient for essentials and safety kit.

Constructed from recycled polyester and finished without PFCs, the Powder Rider balances durability and a reduced environmental footprint. The pack features a preformed EVA back system that keeps the load close to the body for stable carrying. Padded shoulder straps and a removable hip belt improve comfort on steep approaches, while a sternum strap helps stabilise the load.

Organisation and safety are prioritised. A dedicated safety compartment and bright coloured interior make avalanche tools and small items easy to access. There is a map compartment, an emergency card, a keyholder and a hip pocket for quick access to snacks or a phone. The pack is hydration system compatible for easy fluid access on the move.

Attachment options cover typical alpine needs. The pack includes an ice axe and hiking pole attachment, rope attachment points, a D-Skifix for secure ski carry and helmet net or loops for helmet transport. Compression straps allow you to reduce pack volume and keep the contents stable.
